Our partner, GPP (Gradski prijevoz putnika d.o.o. Osijek), is marking the 135th anniversary of tram traffic in Osijek this year, and PENTA had the honor of being one of the sponsors of the event. The first ticketing system was introduced in 2009 with contactless personalized and non-personalized cards. Furthermore, in 2013, Osijek was the first in Croatia to make public transport payment available through mobile devices (a joint project of Penta, Vipnet, GPP, and the French company Oberthur Technologies), and last year the modernization of BusCARD system began and is expected to be replaced with brand new equipment in early 2020.
